What is the TC Finder?

TC Finder reads your site’s IAB TCF 2.2 TC string (and optional Additional Consent) directly in the browser - nothing is sent anywhere. It requires that a Consent Management Platform (CMP) such as Cookiebot is active and running in TCF mode on the same page.

Important: The tool only works on your own website

How to install TC Finder:

1. Copy this code and add it to a page on your website where the CMP (e.g. Cookiebot) is active and running.

You can add the full code to a code block on any page. You don’t need to add it in the header or footer. You can also use GTM -> Custom HTML.

2. Once the code in added to a page on your website, “Open consent dialog” and make a choice - then press “Detect now”
